Denver Aquarium

I wish I could lay around like this all day. All three of these tigers are brothers.
I put my fingers in the water and this stingray came straight for me. He must have thought I had something good to eat.

Denver Aquarium

These otters were Joseph's favorite. They would swim up to the glass and do a flip, it was so cute. Oh my GOSH!! Have you ever seen such a big fish?
These have got to be the calmest sharks i've ever seen.
The color of these starfish were incredible.
Anyone hungry for lobster?

Butterfly Pavilion

I am so proud of all us moms for getting seven kids out the door and to the Butterfly Pavilion on time. Way to go MOMS!!
I held a tarantula for the first time today and i was terrified. My hands were shaking just before the spider walked across them. It was a neat experience, the spider was actually quite light and fuzzy. Joseph didn't mind watching but he didn't want to hold it.
When I first saw these butterflies I thought they were fake, but then one of them just barely moved. They were enjoying snacking on their banana.
Joseph loved playing in the honeycomb with all of his friends. They were chasing each other in and out of them and laughing uncontrollably. It was a great playgroup.

Joseph returned home with quite a bag full of treats.

Joseph loved Trunk or Treating. Instead of saying trick or treat he would point to the monkey nose and say monkey.

Joseph had just received some candy and was beginning to enjoy the evening.

When we first arrived at Trunk or Treat, Joseph wasn't really sure about the whole thing.

Joseph and his cousin Luke are making sure their mommies are coming right back and we did.

I wanted so bad to read my book, but I was just to worn out from playing in Nursery.

Off to Kindergarten

I found this story the other day and I just thought it was so cute I wanted to share it.

I'm off to kindergarten now.
I'd better take my bear.
He likes to sit beside me, so
I'll take a little chair.
I'll pack a cookie for myself,
one for my teacher, too,
and one for all my brand new friends.
(Or maybe even two!)
I've got to have some books to read
while I enjoy my snack.
I'll pile mine up like pancakes, then
I'll pull the wobbly stack.
I'm going to bring my easel and
my paints to paint a tree
with giant smelly flowers for
a giant bumblebee.
I'll take my backhoe with a scoop to dig holes dirtily.
I'll bring some moles along because moles like to dig like me.
I think i'd better get a truck to haul my stuff to school, and moving men to load it up.
(I'll give them cookies, too.)
My mother says, "You don't need all these things, my little Bill.
Your teacher will have everything."
" She will?" I ask. "She will."
I leave my piles of stuff at home.
I sing out , "Doodle-eeeee!"
I'm off to kindergarten now.
And all I take is- ME!
