He went to the Wood Store!

So for christmas Ben made me and my mom matching bread boards for our kitchens. He used 14 different kinds of wood to give it the look that is has. I love it soo much, but have yet to cut anything on it because I don't want to mess it up. I know that's what it for, but it is just so pretty. What a talented, amazing and wonderful husband I have.

What a treasure! You will have that forever I'm sure! So neat.

Wow, he really is so talented. It's beautiful. I don't blame you though for not wanting to cut on it. He made one for Mom when he was a teenager and I think she was the same way.

Wow, that's gorgeous! If you choose to use it, you can sand it down again and will be all nice and pretty again. However, you could also do what my mom did when I made her a cutting board (not nearly as beautiful as yours) and hang it on the wall in your kitchen.

Super well done, Ben!

Wow! It looks great... I would have a hard time cutting on it too!

It really is beautiful, especially the "blood wood" stripes. It's heavy and smooth and will last forever. I got to see them in person when we were there for Christmas.
