Play Ball

Ben and I got a chance to see the Rockies play the Mets a few weeks ago and it was so much fun. I hadn't been to a game in years and I had forgotten how much fun they could be. We had great seats, they were up just high enough and we could see the whole field, and 20min. into the game we had 2 home run balls land within 200ft. of where we were sitting(No we weren't lucky enough to catch one), but we still had a great time.

Joseph's New Bed!

We finally put Joseph in a big boy bed a few weeks ago. Much to my dismay his bed is what you would call a child's dream.

Joseph loved getting to spend time with all of his cousins when we were in Idaho. He loves being around other kids and getting to be a "big kid" for a while. It was so cute every morning as soon as Joseph would wake up his first words were where's Luke? I need to see Luke. They followed each other everywhere. It was sad to come home because Joseph missed all of his cousins terribly.

Oh they say when you marry in March?

We spent a wonderful week in Idaho with all of Ben's family. It was the first time in two years that all the siblings, spouses, and all nine grandchildren were together again. We had the best time hanging out and refereeing the kids.

Cold and Flu Season

Well the crud that has been going around has arrived at our house. I got sick first but I convinced myself it was just a cold and put off going to the doctor, by the time I finally went I had no voice and was white as a ghost. The tests determined that I had a sinus infection, and ear infection in both ears, and broncitus, boy was I excited. I was given amoxicillion for 14 days and told to rest ( yeah right with a toddler.) As I began my recovery my germs traveled to Joseph and Ben ( I'm sorry boys). Ben has been lucky that all he caught was a cold, but Joseph has inflamed tonsils, and an ear infection in both ears as well. Joseph's antibiotics seem to be working much better then mine and his appetite has finally returned(YEAH). Joseph has lost four pounds since he got sick because it hurt to much to have solids. I have hope that by next week we should all be feeling like ourselves again.

*Ten years ago i was...... a sophmore in high school,Can u believe it? my biggest worry was

not being prepared for finals. It was the best of times and the worst of times.(Seriously)

*List of things to do today.... laundry, dishes, run to the bank, nap, pick up a week's worth of

messes ( it's true what they say when mama's sick nothing get's
done.), try not to aggrivate the two year old.

*3 Bad habits.... Reading, once i start a good book i don't do anything else until i finish it.,
starting new projects before i finish the old ones, shopping.

*Place I have worked.... Oh man! This is going to be embarassing. Pizza Hut, Video Store,
Starbucks, Fat City, apartment complex: renters are the worst,
office assistant, Brendan Diamonds oohhhhhh sparkly, and last but
not least a nanny.

* Things you don't know about me.... I have to be touching ben's feet with mine to fall asleep, i
can't have complete silence it bothers me. I love to eat
ice cream when it's snowing. I love to write poetry. I
enjoy writing letters to family the old fashioned way by
hand. I have live in Colorado my entire life and have
NEVER once been skiing.

Who proposed? He, we were working together at the time and we were on our lunch break so he took me to our favorite park and once he hung up the phone with his brother he proposed. He had hidden the ring so I had to find it, it was in the glove box. There aren't many hidding spots in a two seater sports car. I love you babe
