Master of the Throne

As moms we all experience those moments when our children move from one phase to the next. Sometimes we are relieved to be moving on and others are bittersweet.

We had quite a big change in our house last week, Joseph stoppped wearing diapers and is now potty trained. I am excited to be entering this new phase of life, but part of me still longs for him to still be my little baby. When did he get so big?

We are so very proud of how well he is doing.

There's a New Sheriff in Town

Congratulations Dad!!! We are so excited to announce that Ben's dad has won the election for Fremont County Sheriff in Idaho.

Trunk 'R' Treating

We had a nice Halloween this year, it was perfect weather for trunk 'r' treating and Joseph was so excited about all of it.

Last weekend we went to the corn maze with some friends of ours and had a blast. Joseph especially loved giving the directions, and hanging out with Rob and Jessica ( Joseph calls them his new friends.)

Pumpkin Carving!

So this was the first year we carved a pumpkin with Joseph and he loved it. The whole time he kept telling daddy how awesome it was and that it was a silly pumpkin.

1. Where did you meet your husband? The first time was at my parents house for a business meeting and all Ben wanted to do was talk about my car, which I knew nothing about. Then again at a business dinner. The last time was on a business trip and that finally sealed the deal, we started dating a week later.

2.How long did you date before you got married? 9 months

3.How long have you been married? 6 1/2 wonderful years

4.What does he do that surprises you? Recently? I can't think of anything at the moment. He brought home a new dishwasher for me.

5.What is your favorite feature of his? His eyes and his smile.

6.What is your favorite quality? His willingness to serve others.

7.Does he have a nickname for you? His favorite one to call me is my sweet.

8.What is his favorite food? Chicken Parmesan

9.What is his favorite sport? Racing

10.When and where did you first kiss? It was November 2001 in the hallway just outside of my apartment.

11.What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Watch movies, hiking, biking, going to dinner, and many more.

12.Do you have children? 1 a 3yr old son named Joseph

13.Does he have any hidden talents? He has the most amazing singing voice. He is also a mechanic, electrician, plumber, landscaper, etc...

14.How old is he? 28

15.Who said I love you first? I did and I was so terrified.

16.What is his favorite music? Country, Classic Rock, Broadway musicals, etc...

17.What do you admire most about him? He succeeds at everything he does, and he is the best father to Joseph.

18.What is his favorite color? He doesn't really favor one more then another, but he has lots of red and green shirts.

Mmmmm..... Brownies

So last night for an FHE treat Joseph thought we should make brownies. He enjoyed helping me make them but his favorite part by far was that he got to lick the spoon when we were all done. He could hardly wait for Ben to get home so we could have some and when I said he had to have supper first he was very disappointed, but he eventually got one and was very happy.
