On our drive up to Idaho a week ago, early in the morning we hit a deer just outside of Jackson,WY. Ben was able to push the hood down enough that we could make it to his parents house. We are so lucky that none of us were hurt only scared to death.

BAM!!!!! I've never hit a deer, but from all survivor accounts, it is a horrible experience. I'm glad you guys made it home safe!
ACK! I was so afraid of that when we were up that way earlier this summer...and I'm always worried about that up in the high country! I'm SO glad you guys are all okay!
Judging from the conditin of the car's front end, I'm guessing that the deer did not survive the encounter. Was it a doe, a buck? Big? Small?
So that's what a "totalled" car looks like, eh? Sorry to hear about that, and I agree with everyone else: so glad it wasn't worse.

We almost hit a deer on I-70 a couple years ago at about 5am. It was one of the scariest things! And to this day, at dawn or dust, we are always on the lookout!
So glad you guys are ok!
