So this morning I got quite the surprise. Joseph came running into my room screaming that there was a snake in his room and that he had touched it. I briefly looked in his room and then ran up the stairs looking for Ben, thankfully he was home today. After quite some time of looking for the "snake" Ben and Joseph found this millipede and this was what Joseph had called the snake. I can't tell you how relieved I was that it wasn't a real one. So here are some pics of Joseph's "snake" in all it's glory.

One of my new favorite stories!
SO cute!!!
I would have freaked! So glad it was a little "snake". (Lucy calles worms "little snakes." "Let's go find some more little snakes."
That boy needs to be careful. I was just looking at that all-American smile of his, and I think that if he gets any cuter, his head might explode!
When Ben called me to ask me what I thought it was (millipede vs. centipede) I about cracked up over Joseph's "snake" story. That must have been so scary for you though , Lynsey, before you knew what it was!! Either way it was a real treat for me to get to talk with Ben and listen to Joseph's constant chatter in the background. Thanks for the call you guys! I am always happy to help identify critters!! Love you!!
Thanks for looking at my blog and telling me about yours! So cute! Every time I see Joseph I remember how he wants to be a penguin when he grows up. :)
