Well maybe not a million. I have never ever canned in my life and this year I thought that I would give it a try. I was so nervous and intimidated about the whole process but it went much easier then I expected. I found as I was doing it that it was really more of a tedious process then a hard one, especially all the peeling and cutting. Since it went so well this year and I really enjoyed doing it and Ben loves having all the fruit I will definitely be doing it again next year. Besides being yummy it also adds great decoration to my kitchen.

I saw all your bottled fruit when we were there and was going to tell you how impressive it was. Especially that this was your first year! I think I did 12 bottles my first year sinec I was so nervous. They look great.
Way to go, Lyns! I'm so proud of you. It looks so beautiful up there on the cabinets.
Yum ... They look BEAUTIFUL, Lyns! I remember how HIGH I felt the first time I canned Brigham peaches. There's nothing quite as wonderful as sweet home-bottled peaches and toasted cheese sandwiches on a brrr-wintery cold Sunday night. (In fact, that's one of my favorite memories of your Grandma Hansen.) And she'd be so proud of you, Bright Eyes. Luv you!
How long did it take you Lyns?
