Red Rocks Field Trip

A few weeks ago a friend of mine set up a private photography lesson for us with a very talented photographer. It was perfect day, except for the cold but with warm clothes and hand warmers we made the best of it. The sun was shinning and the snow was glistening, so it made for some really beautiful shots. It was such a great experience and I can't wait to be able to do it again, hopefully on a warmer day.

A beautiful bird. I wish I knew what kind it was.

In flight

He was so cute sitting there.

I can't remember what kind he is either.

A beautiful view.

Another great shot off the beaten path.

The snow made for such a pretty picture.
Star burst!!

You've always had your Grandpa Hansen's eye for what constitutes a great shot, Lynsey. The black/white bird is a Mockingbird - that, the squirrel and the picture with the log fence are my favorites. Great job!
