Day Three: Weavers, Seattle and Washington

On day three of our trip we hung out with the Weavers most of the morning before heading back into Seattle. We of course had to hit up Pike's Market and watch them throw the fish, which we did not see. We did see however a guy steal a king crab leg and the vendor chased him down and got it back, it was exciting. The market was just incredible, they had fish, fresh fruit and all kinds of things you could imagine on many different levels. We had lunch at Lowell's of fresh fish and had a great view of the huge cargo ships and Ferris wheel. When we finished at the market we headed over to the Space Needle, but didn't go up because it was crazy expensive to ride the elevator. On our way out of town we met up with Cindy at her local beach and I got to put my toes in the COLD ocean but I was so excited about it. From there we boarded a ferry and made our way across Puget Sound to continue our drive up to Forks. We were both surprised at how fast the ferry moved with all the cars on it, but we were soon distracted by all the beautiful scenery. The town of Forks is really nothing special but we did have dinner at the local pizza place and it was yummy before going to the bed and breakfast we were staying at. Our bed and breakfast was the coolest place and Ben would have spent the rest of the week there. It was next to this huge river surrounded by trees and there were Bald Eagles living in the tree above us. We will definitely go back there.

Ready for fresh fish!

One of his favorite spots on our trip.

On the ferry. Ben was wishing we were on the Alaskan Cruise ship behind us.

Yes I am dork.

The bed and breakfast we stayed in. It was incredible!

The river right outside our room. It is perfect for fishing.

A Bald Eagle above our room.

My first attempt at using my timer. I am so bummed we turned out blurry. :(

The beach at La Push. It was so windy and rainy, I was freezing!
